Scott Chiesa had 15 years of hospitality industry experience when he joined HVS Executive Search in 2008 shortly after the birth of his eldest son. Not content with being an employee, he founded SKC Future Enterprises in 2011 and his company was engaged by HVS Executive Search on a consultancy basis until 2016.
Inspired by the well-known quote “If you don't build your dream someone will hire you to help build theirs”, Scott is now focused on growing SKC Future Enterprises with additional offices planned for Shanghai, Bangkok, and Singapore in 2020.
Scott studied Hospitality Management at the Bentley Hospitality Institute of Technical and Further Education and has held senior management positions in both Australia and Asia, including at The Crown Casino Melbourne, Fraser Island Retreat, The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Hong Kong, The Aberdeen Marina Club (managed by Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts), and HVS Executive Search as Director of Asia Pacific.
Scott has successfully placed senior corporate executives in many of the world’s leading hotel management companies, as well as having placed executive committee level roles in hundreds of those company’s assets throughout Asia Pacific and beyond.

Scott is the epitome of what it is to be multicultural – born in Australia to equally multicultural parents, he is of Scottish, Italian, British, Malaysian, and Portuguese descent. This broad background, a love of travel, people and cultures, further developed within him a deep fascination with human nature and so it was natural that he would pursue a career in the hospitality business – the most people-centric business of them all.
In his spare time, Scott is a seasoned squash player and has in recent years developed a passion for wakeboarding.
With over 25 years of experience working in Asia & the Middle East, Howie is a veteran of the Asian & Middle Eastern private Club and Hospitality sector. He has amassed a wealth of experience managing some of the region’s most successful and recognized Golf Club’s (Yas Links LLC Abu Dhabi, The Address Montgomerie Dubai, Sutera Harbour Marina Golf & Country Club Kota Kinabalu, Danang Golf Club Vietnam, Graha Metropolitan Golf Club Indonesia, Sheraton Timika & Klub Golf Rima Irian, Vietnam Golf & Country Club Ho Chi Minh, and The Cascades @ Soma Bay Egypt).
Living and working in Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Middle East, his cross-cultural management has taken in Golf Club’s, Marina’s, and multi-disciplined consultancy projects, including Club openings and major renovations of existing Clubs.
Having enjoyed success in implementing programmes in staff training / service enhancement / improved profitability / branding / strategic planning and many more, Howie has developed a well-honed understanding of what makes a Club successful and has extensive experience working in Member owned Clubs as well as Proprietary Clubs.
Howie maintains an extensive and active network of International contacts in the Leisure and Hospitality Industry.
In his spare time, Howie obviously enjoys a few rounds of golf, although from time to time he will still visit parts of Golf courses rarely seen by other players.
Matthew has represented SKC Future Enterprises in Japan since early 2018.
He began his search career in Hong Kong in 1999, where he built and ran a leading headhunting boutique for the Asia Pacific region, relocating to Tokyo in 2003. Matthew founded his own Executive Search company in 2009, to provide cutting edge, bespoke executive search, talent management and leadership consulting to partner clients throughout Asia and Japan.
Matthew has on several occasions been voted the ‘best headhunter in Japan’ in the annual Asiamoney ‘Headhunter's Poll’, and has consistently been voted one of the most respected headhunters in Asia and Japan.
The profuse importance Matthew places on his personal and professional integrity, the dedication to his clients and his tenacity to get the job done, have given rise to a formidable track record of completing searches, and closing senior, sensitive and difficult mandates.
Uyen's extraordinary communication skills, her ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and her genuine love of supporting clients to fill their needs make her a perfect brand ambassador and Client Liaison Officer for SKC Future Enterprises in Vietnam.
Uyen has travelled extensively throughout her home country of Vietnam, and she is well-versed in the cultural nuances of each region. Uyen's role is primarily to handle client inquiries from throughout Vietnam, to assess clients needs, to act as an intermediary, and to coordinate with SKC Future Enterprises' headquarters in Hong Kong. She also plays an active and important role in research and identification, as well as assisting with due diligence tasks.
